Do I still need toilet chemicals?
The SOG eliminates the need for chemicals to control odors, since odors are vented outside instead of lingering inside your RV. Many customers choose to reduce or even eliminate traditional odor-control chemicals. However, some RV owners still use tank treatments for waste breakdown, lubrication, or their personal maintenance routine.
Is the SOG difficult to install?
Most RV owners install their SOG themselves using basic hand tools by following the included instructions. Installation typically takes one to two hours, depending on your RV model and your experience. If you’d rather not install it yourself, any RV service center should be able to help.
Will I smell odors outside my RV?
Under normal operation, odors pass through the activated carbon filter before being vented outside. Most users notice little to no odor around the RV during normal use.
